vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research has been selected by MIC/AICTE for hosting Toycathon 2021 Grand Finale, an event conducted by Govt. of India to promote indigenous toy industry. Around 13 teams from different parts of India have confirmed their participation. Toycathon is a program that aims to inspire young people to make toys and games in India and to create innovative toys and games based on Indian civilization, history, culture, myths and ethics.
The Directorate of Academy for Faculty Development(AFD) is an autonomous institution within the University, which anticipates faculty training needs from time to time and organises faculty development and enrichment programs to help them in their continuous professional development. The objective of the FDP, organized from 21 - 25 June, 2021 was to provide a Basic idea on Machine Learning & Computer Vision. This helps them to understand the domain of Machine Learning & Computer Vision and allow the participants to know the different applications where they can use Machine Learning in multiple fields mainly image processing. The FDP was inaugurated by ATAL along with the 72 FDP’s all over India. VFSTR has conducted a talk on International Space Station (ISS) on 21st,22nd and 23rd of December 2020 as a token of appreciation for the twenty years of continuous human presence in space. The ISS is an international program of NASA, ROSCOSMOS, ESA, CSA, and JAXA. Thousands of engineers and scientists from all these countries contributed to the design, manufacture of modules, assembly in orbit, and operations of ISS. This Space Station project is a remarkable technological achievement and best example of international cooperation. On this occasion, Our Vice Chancellor Dr. M. Y. S Prasad delivered lecture on the launch, placement and working of ISS. Dr.M.Y.S. Prasad has served various executive positions during his 40 years' tenure in ISRO.

The Mind Tab is an online counseling platform that offers a broad range of therapy services for people with mental health concerns.

From Nirbhaya to Disha, and more recently the brutality at Hathras, stands as a testimony to the continuing brutality against women. As a society, every time we seem to be hitting new lows. The antidote to this lies in right education. In this context, educating and sensitising youth and making them aware of gender issues is very important.

This Fitness campaign was organised as a part of 151st Birth Anniversary Celebrations of MAHATMA GANDHI. Plogging refers to plucking the waste in surroundings while joggings. International day of Yoga was celebrated on 21st June 2020 at VFSTR. Due to the current pandemic, the observation of IDY needs were re-purposed with a focus on social distancing as no mass gathering was possible. All the staff and students were encouraged to pursue yoga from their home for building immunity and relief from stress. Many staff members have positively participated in the celebrations from their home with the family while the hostel staff has practiced yoga in the institute; there was also an E-Yoga session held for celebrating IDY to practice common yoga protocol drill. Students as well as alumni have participated in this E-Yoga session.
