Summary
Quantum Computing is a type of computing that uses principles of Quantum Mechanics to process information more efficiently than classical computers for certain tasks. Unlike classical bits that represent either 0 or 1, quantum computers use Qubit, which can exist in multiple states simultaneously through Quantum Superposition and can be linked via Quantum Entanglement. These properties allow quantum systems to perform many calculations at once and potentially solve complex problems—such as cryptography, optimization, and molecular simulations—much faster than traditional computers. Although still in the experimental stage due to issues like noise and error correction, companies such as IBM, Google, and Microsoft are actively developing quantum technologies that could transform computing in the future.

About Workshop
Quantum Computing is a field of computing that uses principles from Quantum Mechanics to process information in fundamentally different ways from classical computers. Instead of classical bits (0 or 1), quantum computers use Qubit, which can exist in multiple states simultaneously through Quantum Superposition. Qubits can also be linked through Quantum Entanglement, allowing operations on one qubit to instantly influence another. These properties enable certain computations—such as large-number factoring, complex optimization, and molecular simulation—to potentially be solved much faster than with classical computers. Although the technology is still experimental and limited by challenges like noise and error rates, companies like IBM, Google, and Microsoft are actively developing quantum hardware and algorithms, aiming to achieve practical advantages for science, cryptography, and advanced computing tasks.
