I visit the Department every six months to review the research work of the full-time and part-time Ph.D. students. It provides me an opportunity to interact with the young minds from the Department and also from the Industry, and discuss the research issues and obtain plausible solutions. The Ph.D. work being carried out is quite promising and it is fully supported by the cutting-edge facilities available in the Central Instrumentation facility and also the Department. The research work consists of fundamental explorations to highly applicable areas which are of current interest in the fields of Chemistry.
